Hey--This is for anyone who has done Little Women (Dickstein/Howland) or has the musical prowess I don't. If you are familiar with the scoring, can you tell me--do you think it could be done (without any large amount of score-doctoring) with a piano combo? Hello all--Teaching at camp again and this year it's all about auditions. As you know, I always scramble to find materials for this varied age group (age 5-14). So, having scoured the internet and literature, I have finally got about 50 pieces for the students in all my groups. And I simply wanted to share in case anyone else is faced with this behemoth task. IF you are in need of monologues for young students, message me and I'll find a way to send you my documents. Hello All--I'm once again asking the impossible--trying to do something without the proper instruments. My theatre doesn't have a cyclorama, nor do we have the budget to purchase one in the near future. But for an upcoming production we were thinking of playing with projection drops, using images. My question is, is there a cheaper alternative to a cyc that would possibly work?We do have a scrim, but I can't guarantee that lighting for the actors won't spill onto it and ruin the effect.Thanks again for your infinite wisdom,A.B.See More
