Ok. My summer musical is Music Man. I am looking for a safe, cheap, and effective way to do the firecracker. My director as sent me in search of possible solutions. I have considered a starter pistol controlled by an actor or pit musician, but want to cover all my bases. The theatre is mostly a proscenium stage but with over-flow it becomes a mild thrust stage.
