Event Description

When the tiny clover-dwelling "Who’s" are threatened with danger (and the general disbelief in the existence of Whoville), Horton must face ridicule, kidnapping and a court trial in the Jungle of Nool to save his little Who friends. Fortunately, Gertrude Mc Fuzz never loses faith in him or in the power of friendship, loyalty, family and community.

The Cat in the Hat comes back to Berkeley Playhouse as fresh and hip as ever! Weaving together some of Dr Seuss’s most beloved stories and characters in one fantastical journey, Seussical, the Musical, is a thrill ride through your own imagination and the imagination of one of the 20th century’s most fun story-tellers.

Music by Stephen Flaherty / Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens / Co-conceived by Eric Idle. Based on the Works of Dr. Seuss / Directed by Kimberly Dooley with Music Direction by Tal Ariel.

Julia Morgan Center for the Arts 2640 College Ave, Berkeley, CA
