I'm using Countryman B3 in the hairline applications and E6 ear sets. Countryman claims they can live overnight in a can of coke and come away unharmed. I've not tried that, but distilled water and a little time drying gets it done for us every time. I'm sure that the 99% alcohol would work well as Steven suggests, but it can be hard to find sometimes.

We wash all assembled mics (Lavs too) with 99% Alcohol. Alcohol cleans and removes water. Then they must sit out and dry for several hours or over night in a dry area (no heat)<br />
