I'm interested in knowing this myself.

I've long believed that one should use Ado Annie's number "I Cain't Say No" from Oklahoma for auditions only if your name happens to be Celeste Holm. It's a favorite of teens who can't sing, but who THINK they're funny. And I'd say "Tomorrow" is off limits, especially if you're under 12.

A friend who is a working opera soprano in New York once auditioned for a summer stock company which provided a list of songs titled "We don't care how good you are, if you sing ANY of these songs we will not hire you." She said the titles included most of the Lloyd Webber canon, "Tomorrow" and "I Cain't Say No."

Theatre Bay Area's magazine once provided a list of overused monologues. If I find it, I'll post it.
