Putting a Face on Theatre
Hello all--
Teaching at camp again and this year it's all about auditions. As you know, I always scramble to find materials for this varied age group (age 5-14). So, having scoured the internet and literature, I have finally got about 50 pieces for the students in all my groups. And I simply wanted to share in case anyone else is faced with this behemoth task. IF you are in need of monologues for young students, message me and I'll find a way to send you my documents. It's taken me a week to pull all of these from all over. I hope to save you some trouble.
Best,
A.B.
P.S. In case you're wondering, I pulled some pieces from the Wayside School books (which are more recitation and less monologues), some Aesop's fables, and some from classic plays and classic literature.
