Putting a Face on Theatre
Hello all! I'm teaching at a theatre camp for the third year in a row, and I need new scenes to work with students! The students range in age from rising 1st graders to rising 9th graders. I particularly need scenes for ages 8-9, 10-12 and 13-14. Any suggestions?

Personally, I also have quite a few plays with scenes for actors in the 13-14 age group. You'll find more information on my website at http://jonathandorf.com.
Cheers,
Jon

Alice In Wonderland, The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe, The BFG, The Witches ... And many scenes with dialogue that can be pulled from the books themselves: (i.e.:) Lemonade Wars, Harry Potter, Goddess Girls, Ramona Books, Wonder, Percy Jackson books... great monologues too ...
There are also some short scenes in many of the broadway jr type musicals. You can check MTI's audition central and look over the sides.
Hope this helps :)
