<p>Back in the late 80's for a production of 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,' for the finale of the birthday party, we had 8 welded mortars (Heavy tube steel (1" ID) on flat plate with a bottom touch hole). They were loaded with 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of A/B flash powder, and a model rocket igniter. The rig was loaded onto a Genie lift 12' in the air, way offstage and fired with a push-button switch box. Being a pyrotechnician as well as a theatre professional I have to say that flying a drone into a fireworks display was incredibly stupid. There are a number of possible hazards involved if there had been a collision. I believe that there are Aldo federal regulations that were broken by doing this.<br /> There are also liability concerns that could run into millions.
