Thanks Ben! My wife and I produce shows in our local area. We produce shows at our kids school, several churches that have stages and occasionally at community theatres. We've done about 2 dozen shows in the last 8 years. Always on a shoestring, and I try to learn as much as I can as I go. I look forward to learning more about sets, lighting, sound, theatre management, essentially everything that I do on the shows. The shows are small, but they are very well done (thanks to my wife who is the Artistic Director - and set designer). She tells me what she really wants, and I try to make it happen. I love the designs you have posted on TheatreFace. Every once in a while I'll get to work somewhere with some real lighting tools, and I love it. Mostly though it's what I can beg, borrow and steal (and fit in my van :) Thanks for starting this group, and now that my latest show is over, I plan on hanging around here more often. Not sure I can add to what you don't already know, but if anyone has a question as to how to build an entire show on $300, I've got plenty of ideas! Thanks, Joe
