Who we are, and joining us...

Founded in 2005-6, on the proceeds of a car-boot sale to get us under-way, we are an expanding, completely non-profit theatre company based in Brixham, founded by local Brixham performers. .

We primarily specialise in historical, classical and period dramas (the only semi-regular variation to this being pantos) all of which are new adaptations, if not complete new writing.

Unlike traditional amateur theatre groups, we also aim to provide a platform where performers can also network and find out about other castings (we have directly been approached for local performers by companies such as Disney, the BBC, Sky and the Smithsonian channel) and advance their careers, as well as through working in ambitious shows locally. These castings are strictly only made available to established members, so that we know that these outside directors will only get the best!

New members, whether performers, technicians, backstage, publicity, etc, are always welcome – the more we can work together, the more we can achieve. In general our “intakes” are on audition days, but if you have missed one, then please do get in touch anyway!

We do not charge high membership fees, we each simply contribute £1 per rehearsal which pays for the rehearsal hall rent.
