Putting a Face on Theatre
First off let me tell you I am not the most articulate banana in the bush. I am however, very passionate about projects I work on. This blog is in development with my Masters in Arts and Cultural Management thesis; the working title is ______. I really wish I could say that I have a clear direction of the title, but alas I don't.
The thesis, I hope, will examine the state of the current theatre and community that I work in -Memorial Hall at Pratt Institute. From this examination as well as historical research, I hope to be able to produce a needs assessment report as well as a strategic business plan and model that will ensure the longevity of the theatre as well as possible growth within the institute.
The second part of this blog, I am dedicating to personal dialogues about start-up theatre festivals and companies. Compare, contrast, complain and moan. There will most likely be blogging of shows I see ranging from broadway to high school / community theatre. There also might be a bit of non-profit events thrown in with the mix.
I have my own blog ISO: Collaboration
It's brand spanking new, I will most likely keep more up-to-date with that then I will with this.
I can be reached via twitter: @theatrenerd007
I tweet about EVERYTHING. :)
