Putting a Face on Theatre

We are producing Smokey Joe's Cafe this February, and I'm hoping someone out there has advice for me as to how to build the three large suits for the number Shoppin for Clothes.

For those not familiar with it, the actors are essentially dressed in three suits and cannot be seen. It's as if the suits come to life. I just dont know what kind of apparatus to build/hang the suits on so that they cover the actors' faces.

Any ideas welcome! Thank you!

Sounds like you need an internal frame - something strapped to the waist and shoulders in a harness fashion and then extending upwards as far as you need it to. Something else to think about... how does that work for the arm movements? Are the actors going to be able to use their arms or will you need to construct something for that movement as well?
